Mentoring
Have you ever felt that you spend your
day helping others to be successful, but that nobody is helping you?
Leadership can be a lonely business.
Many leaders of organisations have nobody with whom they can honestly and
frankly discuss their situation, their concerns, their plans, their successes
and their failures.
A mentor is a person who will help and support you.
Many organisations will
spend resources to help problem employees, or to provide
outplacement help for staff who are being made redundant, but they do not always
provide the same amount of help for their most successful and important
employees.
Even the most confident
and competent leaders need support sometimes, and they need to be challenged
sometimes as well.
Mentoring can
provide a confidential and supportive environment for taking stock, discussing
issues, trying out ideas, or just thinking aloud.
I can provide mentoring for senior managers.
